CoE, IASE Sgr organises lecture on ‘Importance of Golden Hour for Road Accident Victims’

Srinagar: An extension lecture on the theme “Importance of Golden Hour for Road Accident Victims” was organised on Tuesday by the NSS Unit-I of College of Education (CoE), IASE M A Road within the college premises.
The lecture was organised as part of road safety awareness programme and was formally inaugurated by Prof. Rubeena Jabeeen.
In her welcome address, she extended gratitude to the guests and congratulated NSS Unit-I for organizing the lecture.
The programme was moderated by coordinator NSS Unit -I Dr. Nousheen Qureshi.
The invited speakers were Secretary Red Cross Branch Kashmir M R Mattoo and Medical Officer Red Cross Kashmir Dr. Mohsin Muneer.
The speakers highlighted the importance of things that one should keep in mind while facing any sort of accident on the road side and the immediate steps to save a life.
The lecture was attended by staff and the students of the college.
The speakers not only deliberated on the topic but also demonstrated the same in the college premises. During the demonstration the participants cleared their doubts in the question-answer session.
The activity was highly appreciated by the staff and students of the college. The programme concluded by the formal vote of thanks by the Co-Coordinator NSS Unit-I Prof. Syed Shabana Shabir.
