Asif  Noor presents report on social activities to Omar Abdullah

Kupwara: A well researched document on various social activities conducted under the leadership of Malik Asif ul Noor (Vice President Jammu and Kashmir National Conference-Kashmir Province) was presented to Omar Abdullah (VP-JKNC) at Kupwara on Wednesday.

The document highlighting the work done in the social sector by Malik ul Asif Noor and his team in various regions of Kashmir province gives a detailed account of the work done over the past ten years which benefitted thousands of households.

The document presented to Omar Abdullah was prepared by Asif ul Noor and his team under the mentorship of Nasir Aslam Wani-President, Kashmir Province JKNC.

“The document is a gist of activities undertaken over the period of ten years and provides an insight of the support base the party has achieved by providing a helping hand to the poor and the downtrodden in various regions of Kashmir region,” Asif Noor said.

He complimented Nasir Aslam Wani for his untiring effort which he offered from time to time to make this document and the range of activities possible over the period of time.

On the occasion scores of youth, whor are part of Asif Noor’s team, including many professionals joined the party and offered their support to the party leadership.

The youth hailing from various districts joined the party in presence of Vice President JKNC, Omar Abdullah and Provincial President Nasir Aslam Wani. The youth who have been working at various levels to provide relief and assistance to the poor and the downtrodden have been associated with Malik Asif ul-Noor.

Those who joined the party include Syed Abid Hussian from Uri, Syed Mazloom Hussian (Uri), Ishfaq Hussian (Uri), Shujat Ali from Khansahib-Budgam, Abid Hussian from Khan sahib-Budgam, Tanveer Hussian from Arizal, Mohammad Sultan from (Kupwara), Abdul Majeed Bhat (Kupwara) and Mohammad Amin Bhat from Kupwara.

Notably, nine others also joined the party the other day.

Sharing their experiences the youth said that they wish to contribute towards the welfare of the poor and the downtrodden and have felt that NC is the only platform which can help them achieve their goals.

“The party leadership including Farooq Abdullah, Omar Abdullah, Nasir Aslam Wani and others are connected to the people and they understand the issues of the people that need immediate attention and resolution,” Syed Abid Hussain said.

He thanked party leaders Nasir Aslam Wani and Malik Asif ul Noor for grooming them under their able leadership and showing them the way to help the people who have been ignored over the past more than five years by those who are in power.

“The party believes in empowering the youth so that the society gets the direction it needs to excel in all fields,” Asif Noor said, adding that the party leaders Omar Sahab and Nasir Aslam Wani have been mentoring these youth for many years now.

He said that youth will act as the vehicles of change and the party will leave no stone unturned to help them achieve their goals.
