PFMS training conducted for J&K Planning and Finance Officers

SRINAGAR: The J&K Finance Department Thursday organized a training program on the Public Financial Management System (PFMS), in collaboration with Ministry of Finance, PFMS division, New Delhi and SD PFMS J&K.

Led by expert trainers from Delhi and J&K, the program focused on various PFMS modules, including SNA, DBT, and report generation.

Participants, including Planning/ Finance Officers posted in Administrative Departments/ HOD Offices and District Offices, gained insights into crucial operations such as vendor management and beneficiary payments.

Key highlights of the training included discussions on setting drawing limits, hierarchy mapping, and effective report utilization.

Emphasis was laid on optimizing PFMS for streamlined financial operations and accurate reporting.

The training was inaugurated by Director Expenditure  Madan Lal Sharma, Director General Budget Mohammad Yaqoob Itoo and State Nodal Officer Shakeel Maqbool (ICAS). Participants were encouraged to leverage the platform for accurate reporting and streamlined operations.
