Hundreds visit Wani family in Chandiloora, offer condolences
Srinagar: Hundreds of people visited Wani family of Chandilora Tangmarg to mourn the tragic demise of Moazzam Wani son of Ghulam Jeelani Wani, managing editor of ‘Kashmir Images’.
Moazzam, a class nine standard student passed away on April 21 at SMHS hospital Srinagar.
Thousands attended his nimaze jinazah at Eid Gah Chandilora Sunday evening and was laid to rest at ancestral graveyard there, family sources said.
A Tyndale Biscoe School student, Moazzam was a versatile athlete who made a mark in swimming, badminton and football.
Principal Tyndale Biscoe & Mallinson School, Mabel Yonzon, on behalf of management, staff and students of school expressed solidarity with bereaved family.
“May God bless his soul and give you the courage to bear this irreplaceable loss,” the Principal wrote in a condolence message addressed to Mr and Mrs Ghulam Jeelani Wani.
