Lok Sabha Elections-2024: Training programme for Media persons held
BANDIPORA: The District Administration Bandipora Saturday conducted an election training program at Mini Secretariat, here aimed at equipping media persons with essential knowledge and skills for comprehensive election coverage.
The programme was attended by media persons, officials of the Information department and other concerned.
During the programme, District Level Master Trainer Mohammad Iqbal Samoon highlighted various election laws, regulations and codes of conduct, ensuring media personnel have a clear understanding of regulations governing election coverage.
The training programme focused on equipping journalists, reporters, and other media professionals with the necessary skills and knowledge to effectively cover the electoral process.
Resource persons on the occasion highlighted the role and importance of media in elections, media facilitation and media regulations.
The media persons were also provided with hands-on training on EVM and VVPAT.
On the occasion, Practical demonstrations of the working of EVM and VVPAT were also held.
