Old Jammu city residents appealed to use water judiciously
JAMMU: Department of Jal Shakti has appealed the residents of old Jammu city and adjoining areas to use the water judiciously in view of disruption of Supply due to maintenance works on Sitlee Manda 500 MM DIA Raising Mains being taken up on November 16 and 17, 2023.
“It is for the information of general public that due to some urgent maintenance works on Sitlee Manda 500 MM DIA Raising Mains, the water supply to the parts of Old City, Panjtirthi, Karan Nagar, Rehari, Jain Bazaar, Moti Bazaar, Pacca Danga, Link Road, Afghan Mohalla, Dogra Hall, Kachi Chawni, Ustad Mohalla etc and adjoining areas will remain affected on November 16 and 17, 2023,” a departmental communiqué stated.
