Education is the systematic process of learning. It is as important as food, water, shelter etc. Education gives meaning to our life as it helps us to grow and develop our minds. Education is important for everyone. Education helps us to know the difference between a human being and a animal.

In India, there are four stages of education: Primary, Middle, High and College/University level. In the past, there were lesser number of students.  A minority of people used to study.  However, in the present age, owing to the avenues created in the wake of the Internet, everyone is trying to get educated. In this way, the competition is growing day by day and there are a lot of challenges confronting the education sector.

The first challenge is that a student is forced to get high marks. Instead of making the students understand the concepts, they are forced to learn answers. It is the secondary thing whether they understand the concepts or not. This rote learning has no future. It mars the creativity of a student.

The second challenge is unaffordable expenses. In India, there are millions of students who don’t have money to go for further education. Due to high expenses, children from poor and middle-class families are not able to complete their education.

The third is lack of trained teachers. It destroys the whole structure of education. The dearth of quality teachers acts as the last nail in the coffin of sustainable education. There are many challenges as well.

So, in order to make education a lifelong process, we all must spend in education. Instead of spending on other things, spending on education is remunerative. It has long-term benefits.

Moreover, there should be provisions for free education as well. In private institutions, it is unimaginable to bear the cost of education. Furthermore,  only the trained teachers must be allowed a space in education.

Unworthy teachers must be shown the backdoor. There is an urgent need to address all the challenges because in order to reach the pinnacles of glory, education is the only way. The earlier, the better. Without wasting time, let us strive for sustainable education.
