GDC Ajas organises Awareness programme on SVEEP
BANDIPORA: Government Degree College Ajas in collaboration with District Election Office Bandipora Friday conducted a program on SVEEP 2023 (Systematic Voters’ Education and Electoral Participation) to create awareness among the citizens about the importance of their participation in the upcoming elections.
The program was organized under the auspices of the Election Commission of India (ECI) and included several informative sessions and interactive activities to engage the participants and was attended by faculty members and a large number of students.
During the program, informative sessions on various topics related to the electoral process, including the role of the Election Commission of India, the process of voter registration, the use of Electronic Voting Machines (EVMs), and the importance of ethical voting.
The program received positive feedback from the participants, who found it informative and engaging. Participants also appreciated the efforts of the District Election Office Bandipora for organizing such a program and creating awareness about the electoral process.
