DIPR’s Cultural Unit Kmr holds Quiz competition

SRINAGAR: The Cultural Unit Kashmir of Department of Information and Public Relations (DIPR) has been organising various events in run up to 74th Republic Day.

These events include speech competitions, singing and writing competitions and quiz competitions to generate awareness among the participants regarding the Republic day and enthuse patriotism among them.

In continuation to this, a quiz competition under the theme “Know my India” was held today at Pandit Bhajan Sopori Auditorium, DIPR Srinagar.

The schools which participated include Army Public School, JK Police Public School, RP School, Green Valley Educational Institute, Caset School and The Legends School of Education.

The questions asked in the quiz competition were based on Indian Freedom Struggle, Indian Political system, Indian Culture, economy, geography and environment.

Quiz was conducted by DIPR’s popular youth oriented talk show “Gen Z” Volunteer Interviewer Shadab Geelani.

Army Public School was declared as the winner.

Congratulating the participants for their stellar efforts, Cultural Officer Kashmir, Burhan Hussain said that all the participating students made us proud by their wit, awareness and grasp of facts and knowledge about the country.
