MTMP: series of activities held in Sopore
Sopore: As part of ongoing Jan Abhiyan prelude to ‘My town My pride’ programme, a series of activities were held today at Dak Banglow here in Sopore on Monday.
During the programme various beneficiary oriented schemes, grievance redressal, awareness cum training programmes, special sanitation drives, water sample testing, participatory planning process and other activities were carried out by various departments across municipal limits of Sopore.
On Monday, the visiting officers Director cooperative societies, director libraries, ACR Baramulla, SSP Sopore, ADC Sopore, President municipal council Sopore and heads of various departments of Baramulla district held a meeting with local citizens, councillors, NGOs, and other stakeholders.
During the programme more than 30 departments established their stalls at two locations in the town for public awareness, grievance redressal, enrolment under beneficiary schemes, feedback and other particulars involving presentation on developmental works thereof.
