DC Kupwara chairs DLSCC, 9 cases settled

KUPWARA: The District Level Screening cum Coordination Committee (DLSCC), which met here under the chairmanship of Deputy Commissioner (DC) Kupwara Doifode Sagar Dattatray on Thursday settled nine cases.
A total of 22 cases of different categories were put forth for discussion before the Committee, out of which nine cases were cleared subject to the fulfilment of all codal formalities.
These cases include one death case approved for an ex-gratia relief of Rs.1 lakh; three cases of Permanent disability cleared for Rs.75000 each; 2 cases of Temporary Disability cleared for Rs.5000 each and two injured cases were deferred for want of medical examination.
Regarding eight cases pertaining to SRO-43, 3 cases of Police Personnel were cleared, three were deferred for want of clarification reports; one case rejected and one was referred to GAD for necessary guidance.
Regarding four property cases, three were referred to the Divisional Commissioner and one was rejected.
Moreover, one missing case was forwarded to the Enquiry Committee headed by ADC Handwara for proper enquiry and one case of BSF Personnel was recommended to Home department for ex-gratia relief.
Speaking on the occasion, the DC stressed upon the concerned officers to speed up the disposal of pending cases in their offices so that timely settlement could be done in the next meeting of DLSCC.
Senior Civil, Police, CID and Army officers attended the meeting.
