Elderly woman mauled to death by wild bear
Srinagar: A 50-year-old woman was killed in a bear attack in Kokernag area of south Kashmir’s Anantnag district on Thursday afternoon, officials said.
They said that a woman identified as Zaiba Bano wife of Abdul Rehman Chopan, resident of Frehmoo Gadool was attacked by the wild animal while she was outside her home. She sustained grievous injuries in the attack and succumbed subsequently after, they added.
Meanwhile a police official has also confirmed about the death of the elderly woman. (GNS)
