Cannabis destruction drive held at Bandipora
Bandipora: A team under the supervision of ADC Bandipora on Thursday conducted a massive cannabis destruction drive in Bandipora town.
The drive was conducted on the directions of Deputy Commissioner Bandipora Dr. Owais Ahmed.
The drive was conducted by District Administration Bandipora in collaboration with Excise Department Bandipora.
The ADC was accompanied by Assistant Commissioner Revenue Parvaiz Rahim, EO MC Bandipora, Law Officer Bandipora, Representative of Excise Department and other concerned.
The ADC directed the Excise Department to continue a month-long drive after Eid for destruction of wild/cultivated cannabis throughout the district.
Waseem Raja said the drive was conducted as part of a massive crackdown against drugs in order to make Bandipora drug free.
