Signature campaign against Child Labour launched at Kulgam
Kulgam: Integrated Child Protection Services Kulgam in collaboration with Labour Department conducted a signature campaign on Thursday as part of weeklong child labour elimination drive.
The event was organised to mobilize public support towards eradication of child labour in the society.
Deputy Commissioner (DC) Kulgam Dr.Bilal-Mohi-Ud-Din-Bhat launched the signature campaign.
District Child Protection Officer Kulgam Snober Altaf said that the campaign aims to aware communities about the negative consequences of child labour and seek the support of the Civil Society for its eradication.
She highlighted the need for community participation and appealed to the public to participate in the government’s efforts to eradicate the child labour in the district.
