Cleanliness Week culminates at GHSS Langate

Langate: The Government Higher Secondary School (HSS) Langate on Tuesday organised a cleanliness rally at the institution which marked the culmination of the cleanliness week organised by the institution.
During the rally, the students marched from the institution and passed through the main market, streets, mohallas and hamlets of village Langate.
The main aim and objective of the rally was to create a sense of awareness among the common people about the advantages of cleanliness and disadvantages of pollutants in the surroundings.
Principal GHSS Langate, Bashir Ahmed Malla kick started the rally to create awareness and publicity to the campaign.
“Students have to play a responsible role in making the earth a safest place for our survival and existence and act as ambassadors of peace and cleanliness in their homes, localities and surrounding areas,” he said.
The week-long program was celebrated with conviction and enthusiasm in which students participated in speeches, debates, seminars, slogan enchanting, play cards, cleanliness drive and cleanliness rally.
The students through their debates and speeches tried to give a message to all the stakeholders to implement the initiative in letter and spirit.
“The whole staff and the students of the institution played an active role in making this important program a successful one,” the school handout reads.
A special oath was also taken by all the staff members, students in presence of the Principal to ensure a safe and healthy atmosphere around us and shun all such illegal and unwarranted activities which would put our Earth in danger.
