JAKIFF to organize film festival from 11th June
Srinagar: J&K International Film Festival and Sarhad, a Pune based organisation is organizing a five days Film Festival at Pune, a statement issued by the organization said.
“The Festival will be held from 11th June to 15th June 2022. The Opening Ceremony will be held on 11th evening at S M Joshi Auditiorium in Pune. The film screenings on 12th, 13th, 14th, and 15th will be held in the auditorium of National Film Archives of India (NFAI) and the closing Ceremony will be held in the Annabhau Sathe Sabhagraha, Pune.
Sarhad, is a Pune based organisation, which is actively working in social, cultural and educational fields for the past 30 years.
This festival is a tribute to the legendary film personalities Sh. K. L. Saigal and Pt. Shiv Kumar Sharma, it said.
It said that films of all genres and Music videos will be included in the festival.
“Other than the Feature films, Short films, Short documentaries and Music Videos sent by the Producers for the competition and non-competition sections, popular Hindi Feature Films of yesteryears like Mainzraat, Kashmir Ki Kali, Arzoo, Do Badan, Aap Ki Kasam, Bobby, Junglee, Jab Jab Phool Khile, Roti, Kabhie Kabhie, Betaab, etc shall also be screened in the festival. These Feature films shall be screened in City Pride Cinema Hall on 12th to 15th of May,” the statement said.
