Police arrests a drug peddler in Baramulla
Srinagar: Police on Wednesday arrested a drug peddler in Baramulla and recovered contraband substance from his possession, a police spokesman said here.
He said that police at a checkpoint established at Dhobiwan Kunzer arrested a drug peddler identified as Mohammad Ramzan Tantray son of Ghulam Mohammad Tantray resident of Shirpora.
During checking officers were able to recover 180 grams of Charas like substance from his possession. He has been arrested and shifted to police station where he remains in custody.
Accordingly, a case under relevant sections of law has been registered at Police Station Kunzer and investigation has been initiated, the spokesman added.
