Police arrests three persons for illegal mining
Srinagar: Police in Baramulla arrested three persons and seized three tractors for illegal mining and extraction of minerals, a police spokesman said here Saturday.
Officers from PS Pattan arrested three persons and seized three tractors involved in illegal mining and extraction of minerals at Flood Spill Channel Baliharan Pattan, Baramulla. They have been shifted to police station where they remain in custody, the spokesman said.
Accordingly, a case under relevant sections of law has been registered and further investigation has been initiated, he added.
