Policeman shot at, injured in Pulwama village
Srinagar: Suspected militants on Sunday evening shot at and injured a policeman in south Kashmir’s Pulwama districts, reports said here.
Reports reaching Kashmir News Service (KNS) said that a policeman was injured after suspected militants fired at him in his native village Bandzoo.
They said that the cop was immediately rushed to a nearby hospital for treatment.
The injured cop has been identified as Mushtaq Ahmad Wagey son of Ghulam Mohammad Wagey of Bandzoo Pulwama.
Meanwhile, reports said that the area has been cordoned off to trace the suspected militants. (KNS)
