DGP praises police, security forces for handling situation during last five days
Srinagar, Sep 07: Director General of Police J&K, Dilbagh Singh on Tuesday applauded role of Police and security forces for performing duties with utmost professional zeal and restrain during the last five days.
A police spokesman in a statement issued here said that the DGP J&K Dilbag Singh has complimented Police CAPF and Army deployments for highly professional handling of ground situation over the last 5 days.
“Special restraint shown by police and security forces and very responsible conduct of the local people especially youth is highly appreciated,” the DGP said.
He has said that we have to move forward together to strengthen peace identifying the enemies of peace and weaning out the mischievous elements strictly dealing with them under law.
“Most of the restrictions are eased including the Internet and situation is fully normal in both regions of Kashmir and Jammu but under close watch,” he said.
