Shopian Encounter: Four militants killed,operation over
Srinagar, June 23:Two more militant bodies have been recovered from the encounter in south Kashmir’s Shopian district taking the toll to four after a gunfight broke out between militants and government forces in Daramdora area of Keegam in the District on Sunday morning.
A senior Police officer said that two more militant bodies have been recovered from the encounter site taking the death toll to four.
The officer further said that the identity of the slain militants is yet to be ascertained.
Earlier, a gunfight broke out in orchards of Daramdora area of Shopian and initially two militant bodies were recovered from the encounter site.(GNS)
