Public asked not to carry objectionable items on I-Day function
Ahead of the Independence day on 15 August, police has advised the general public not to carry cameras, arms, ammunition, sharp edged weapons, hand/ polythene bags, ladies purse, Tiffin boxes, transistor, patromax, handy fire extinguishers, stop watches pens, any kind of powder, inflammable, material like cigarette, match boxes, lighter and the like objectionable items in Mini Stadium, Parade Ground, Jammu on Independence day function on 15th August .
Public has also been appealed to extend cooperation to the security agencies deployed at different gates of the venue during frisking/checking.
