Soldier, civilian killed in Poonch's Krishna Ghati sector

A soldier and one civilian were killed when Indian and Pakistani armies exchanged fire in Poonch's Krishna Ghati sector.

According to the reports, Pakistan Army on Thursday resorted to unprovoked and indiscriminate firing of small arms along the Line of Control (LoC) in Krishna Ghati Sector of Jammu and Kashmir.

The firing which started at 10:35 in the morning is still going on.  Sources said that the Indian Army is retaliating strongly and effectively.

The firing was going on when this report was filed.
