Pregnant lady electrocuted in Sopore

A pregnant lady died of electric shock in tarzoo village of Sopore on Tuesday. The laady was idetified as Hafeez Begum, 34, wife of Riyaz Ahmad Bhat of Qundar Mohalla Tarzoo, Sopore.  The sources said that she was shifted to Community Health Centre, Sopore,where doctors declared dead. The deceased was reportedly pregnant.

Infiltration bid foiled in Gurez, two militants killed

Army today claimed to have foiled an infiltration bid along LoC in Gurez in Bandipora, reports said. According to the sources two militants were killed in the encounter. Sources said that two to three militants are still to be trapped. Meanwhile, the encounter is currently underway. More details awaited.
