NCB recovers five packets of narcotics in Poonch, one person detained
Poonch, July 18: The Narcotics Control Bureau recovered 5 packets of suspected narcotics in village Kosalyain near the border fence in tehsil Haveli, district Poonch on Saturday.
Officials said that during a search operation in the area, the NCB team intercepted and apprehended one person identified as Maneer Hussain son of Sain, a resident of the area.
During checking, 5 packets of suspected narcotics were recovered from his possession.
A case has been registered and the accused has been taken into custody for questioning. Further investigation into the matter is underway to ascertain the source and intended destination of the consignment. (GNS)
