Govt issues roster for Administrative Secretaries at Civil Secretariat Jammu

Jammu: The Jammu and Kashmir government on Wednesday issued a roster for Administrative Secretaries who will remain available at the Civil Secretariat in Jammu for the month of June and July 2026.
According to Government Order No. 1119-JK(GAD) of 2026, issued by the General Administration Department (GAD), senior IAS and IPS officers have been assigned weekly duty periods at the Jammu secretariat.
As per the roster, Ashwani Kumar, IAS, Financial Commissioner (Additional Chief Secretary), Power Development Department, along with Ram Niwas Sharma, IAS, Commissioner/Secretary, School Education Department, will be available from June 29 to July 3, 2026.
From July 6 to 10, Shaleen Kabra, IAS, Financial Commissioner (Additional Chief Secretary), Jal Shakti Department, and Naveen S L, IAS, Secretary, Civil Aviation Department, will be on duty.
Dr. Ashish Chandra Verma, IAS, Financial Commissioner (Additional Chief Secretary), Tourism Department, and R. Alice Vaz, IAS, Commissioner/Secretary, Planning, Development & Monitoring Department, will be available from July 13 to 17.
For the period July 20 to 24, Shailendra Kumar, IAS, Financial Commissioner (Additional Chief Secretary), Finance Department, and Dr. Shahid Iqbal Choudhary, IAS, Commissioner/Secretary, Youth Services & Sports Department, will be present.
Additionally, Brij Mohan Sharma, IFS, Principal Secretary, Culture Department, and Vikramjit Singh, IPS, Commissioner/Secretary, Industries & Commerce Department, have also been included in the roster, though their specific duty week was not detailed in the order.
The order was issued by M. Raju, IAS, Commissioner/Secretary to the Government, GAD, and copies have been forwarded to all top officials, including the Director General of Police, Divisional Commissioners, Deputy Commissioners, and the Chief Electoral Officer, among others.
The government has also directed that Hindi and Urdu versions of the order shall follow.
