Three drug peddlers arrested with heroin in Doda, Samba districts
JAMMU, Jun 15 (PTI): Three alleged drug peddlers were arrested along with different quantities of heroin in Doda and Samba districts of Jammu and Kashmir on Monday, police said.
A police team intercepted a vehicle at a checkpoint in Doda town and subjected its two occupants to frisking, leading to the recovery of 53 grams of heroin from their possession, a police spokesperson said.
While the driver of the vehicle was carrying 30.34 grams of heroin, the rest of the contraband was recovered from his co-passenger.
