Khyber Cement Marks World Environment Day with Mega Plantation Drive KV News Network
Srinagar: Demonstrating its continued commitment to environmental sustainability and responsible industrial growth, Khyber Cement organised a Mega Plantation Drive at Green Park, Khyber Industries Pvt. Ltd. to commemorate World Environment Day 2026.
The plantation drive was attended by Safeer Shah, DCF Regional Director Kashmir J&K Pollution Control Committee; Bilal Ahmad Khan, Divisional Officer Kashmir, J&K Pollution Control Committee, Riaz Tramboo, Director Operations, Khyber cement Manzoor Ahmad Mir, Head Commercials, Legal & Regulatory Affairs Khyber Cement and Mohd Shafi Dar Head Operation’s Khyber cement, a statement issued by the organisation said.
As part of the programme, saplings were planted across the Green Park premises, symbolising a shared commitment to ecological preservation and environmental responsibility. The initiative reflects Khyber Cement’s broader vision of integrating sustainability into its operations while contributing meaningfully to the region’s environmental well-being.
