J&K govt announces special casual leave for Eid-ul-Azha on May 29
Srinagar, May 25: The Jammu and Kashmir government on Monday sanctioned a one-day special casual leave on May 29 for its employees wishing to observe Eid-ul-Azha.
The leave has been granted in connection with the religious festival across the Union Territory, according to Government Order No. 1012-JK(GAD) of 2026 issued by the General Administration Department (GAD).
The order, issued under the signature of Commissioner/Secretary to the Government M Raju (IAS), said the special casual leave will be applicable to employees who intend to avail the leave on the occasion of Eid-ul-Azha. (KNS)
