Man found dead under mysterious circumstances in Kulgam
Srinagar, May 5: A 30-year-old man was found dead under mysterious circumstances at his residence in the Laroo area of Kulgam district on Tuesday, officials said.
The deceased has been identified as Shabir Ahmad Sheikh, son of Abdul Salam Sheikh, a resident of Laroo, they added.
Officials said that soon after the incident, Tehsildar Kulgam, accompanied by police officials and a team from the Forensic Science Laboratory (FSL), reached the spot to assess the situation and initiate necessary proceedings.
Police have taken cognizance of the matter. Further investigation is underway to ascertain the exact cause of death, they added. (KNS)
