Terrorist associate held in Pulwama
Srinagar: Police in Pulwama, in a meticulously planned joint operation with 44 RR Shadimarg and CRPF 183 Bn, apprehended a terrorist associate, delivering a decisive blow to the terror ecosystem in the area.
During the operation at Qasbayar (CB Nath Road), one terrorist associate identified as Mohammad Umar Malik son of Abdul Majeed Malik resident of Kachipora was apprehended by the joint team.
Upon his search, incriminating material in the form of arms and explosives was recovered from his possession, including 01 Star pistol, 01 pistol magazine, 02 live rounds and 02 hand grenades.
In this regard, a case vide FIR No. 75/2026 under relevant sections of law has been registered at Police Station Rajpora and investigation has been initiated, the spokesman added.
