Police arrest drug peddler in Pulwama
Srinagar: Police in Pulwama arrested a drug peddler and recovered Contraband substance from his possession, a police spokesman said Friday.
He said that a police party at a checkpoint established at Eid Gah area of Pulwama intercepted a suspicious person. During his personal search, approximately 52 grams of charas-like substance was recovered from his possession. He has been identified Anayatullah Makdoomi son of Showkat Ahmad resident of Drasoo. Accordingly, a case vide FIR No. 46/2026 under relevant section of law has been registered at Police Station Pulwama and investigation has been taken up, the spokesman added.
