Forces fire in air to disperse protesters in Kulgam

Forces on Monday evening  resorted to aerial firing after their vehicle came under heavy Stone pelting in Tarigam village of south Kashmir’s Kulgam district, sources said. Sources said that forces fired some rounds in air to disperse the protesting  youth, which resulted in chaos in the area. More details awaited.

Restrictions in 5 Srinagar police stations tomorrow

According to the District Magistrate Srinagar, restrictions under Section 144 of CrPC will remain in force under the jurisdictions of Police Stations Nowhatta, M R Gunj, Rainawari, Khanyar and Safakadal in district Srinagar on JULY 25 (Tuesday) as a precautionary measure to avoid any untoward incident.
