Avalanche hits Jawahar tunnel, blocked
Srinagar: An avalanche hit the north portal of the Jawahar Tunnel along Srinagar-Jammu highway on Thursday. Snow avalanche blocked one of the tubes, an official said. He said that efforts are on to clear the avalanche.
High level avalanche warning in 7 Kashmir districts
Srinagar: High level warning has been issued for the areas including Anantnag, Kulgam, Budgam, Baramulla, Kupwara, Bandipora and Ganderbal districts of Kashmir. Officials said that medium level warning has been issued for Poonch, Rajouri, Reasi, Ramban, Doda, Kishtwar, Udhampur and Kargil districts. Low level warning has been issued for Leh.
