Internet services snapped in South Kashmir

Following the encounter in Tral, authorities have snapped the cellular and mobile Internet services in South Kashmir on Wednesday. Earlier three militants were killed in Gulab Bag Tral in a gunfight between militants and government. However, the facility was not suspended on state-owned Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited.

Students protest against ‘out of syllabus’ question paper

Scores  of college students on Wednesday staged a protest here in Gandhi Memorial College Srinagar alleging that the question paper set for them by Kashmir University was totally out of syllabus. The 1st year (2nd Semester) students who appeared in examination for Udru paper said the questions were out of syllabus.

Gulab Bagh Encounter: Three militants identified

In a brief gunfight three militant were killed in Gulab Bagh village of Tral in South Kashmir’s Pulwama district. The militants who were killed were identified as Umer of Seer village, Zahid  of Nowdal and Isaq of Batagund. Police said that three weapons were also recovered from the encounter site.
