Khrew village lacks basic facilities

Khrew: A village in Khrew area of Pampore lacks all the basic facilities forcing people to raise their voice forsaking development of the area.
Locals from Shaar Shali village which is just 1 km from Khrew said that they have been neglected on all fronts as the village lacks proper road connectivity, health facilities and other basic necessities.
They said that that the main road that connects the village with Pampore and National highway is in dilapidated conditions due to which pedestrians as well as drivers are facing lot of problems.
Sheeraz Ahmad, a local resident said that the health centre in the village was upgraded to new type primary health centre, however the decision remained on paper only and on ground nothing changed for the local residents.
He said that even for a minor ailments the locals have to visit sub district or district hospital.
Masroor Ahmad, another locals said there were fresh ponds in the area, however day by day they are shrinking and in coming years they are going to disappear if proper attention is not given towards them.
The locals said that they have brought these issues into the notice of higher ups several times but nothing has changed as no attention was heeded towards our requests.
The locals now requested Lt Governor, his advisors and Divisional commissioner Kashmir to look into the issues the locals are confronted with and expedite the process of progress and development in the village.
