Family of missing Bemina youth stage protest, seek his whereabouts

Srinagar: The family and relatives of Srinagar youth on Wednesday staged a protest, demanding authorities to help them in tracing their son who is missing since intervening night of June 14-15.
Scores of family members and relatives of Hilal Ahmad Dar, son of Ghulam Mohi-ud-din Dar of Bemina Srinagar assembled at Srinagar’s press enclave. They demanded that authorities to help them in tracing their missing son.
The family members said their beloved went missing when he went for trekking to Gangbal lake along with his five friends. “All his five friends have returned while our beloved has not returned yet,” the family said.
They said they have filed a missing complaint at Police Station on June 15. They appealed the Lieutenant Governor Girish Chandra Murmu and Deputy Commissioner (DC) Srinagar, Dr. Shahid Iqbal Choudhary to personally intervene in the matter and help them in tracing their son. (KNO)
