Forces launch search operation in Sopore village
Sopore, May 14: Forces launched a cordon and search operation in Thagund Rehmatabad village of Sopore in north Kashmir’s Baramulla district on Thursday afternoon.
Officials said that a joint team of Army’s 22 RR, SOG of Sopore and Rafiabad belt and personnel from the 92 battalion of CRPF launched search operation following inputs about the presence of militants in the area.
Local reports said that all entry and exit points towards the village were sealed by forces and house to house searches were conducting.
Meanwhile, a search operation in the area was going on when this report was filled. Further details are awaited.
