11 family members, 2 drivers and hotelier home quarantined

Srinagar: 11 family members and two drivers of reputed hotelier who was booked yesterday after violating lockdown orders and deliberately leaving for Srinagar from a Jammu red zone have been home quarantined at Zakoora area of Srinagar city.
Sources said that medical team was dispatched to the home of businessman Mushtaq Ahmed Chaya and after check-up he along with 11 family members and 3 drivers were asked to go for home quarantine.
Pertinently, Jammu police had informed District Development Commissioner Srinagar to dispatch a medical team and quarantine a businessman and his family who violated lockdown orders and deliberately left for Srinagar from a designated red zone in Jammu.
An FIR vide number 109/2020 under section 188 stands registered against Mushtaq Chaya at Trikuta Police Station.
Jammu police informed DC Srinagar and Kashmir Police that Mushtaq Chaya and others left for Srinagar after staying at Farooq Abdullah Enclave in Bhatandi Jammu that has been declared as red zone in wake of Covid-19 outbreak. (KNT)
