OP NAMASTE: RR assists police, admin in ensuring lockdown
Baramulla: A SVL team of Baramulla Rashtriya Rifles and ARTY BDE & JKPF jointly assisted district administration in maintaining lockdown amid Covid-19 pandemic.
The Rashtriya Rifles Army Battalion at Bramulla in conjuction with the Svl Team of Artillery Brigade & JKPF assisted the district administration in maintaining the lockdown amid the pandemic by providing them with aerial surveillance feed of the market and built up area in the most sensitive Old Town of Baramulla.
The aerial surveillance was provided by forming a triangle of three Quad Copters from three launch points namely Azadgunj, Iqbql Market and Bagh E Islam thereby covering the entire stretch and ensuring a lockdown in Old Town.
The sense of appreciation and gratitude towards the Army & Jkpf was expressed by the District Administration.
This noble gesture portrays the rich values, ethos and firm commitment of the Army for jointness and synergy with other agencies as also the resolve to fight against the pandemic.
