IPRPs in JKRLM without wages from last 10 months

Pulwama: The Internal Professional Resource Persons (IPRP’s) who are working under poverty reduction programme under Jammu and Kashmir Rural Livelihood Mission (JKRLM) are without salaries from the last 10 months.
The resource persons said that the administration is not caring for them and letting them suffer for month’s altogether.
Notably, the IPRP’s are contributing to the society in many means especially in spreading of SHG movements in resource as well as non resource blocks besides mobilization and capacity building of poor women to ensure their livelihoods.
The IPRP’s said that government has already announced that they will release wages of all persons whose wages are pending but no attention is being provided towards us, which is adding to our miseries.
“We are facing hardships as we haven’t got a single penny from the government from the last 10 months,” said a resource person, wishing not to be named.
They appealed the government especially Lieutenant Governor Girish Chandra Murmu to kindly look into the issue.
“We believe that the Lt Guv will get to release our wages at an earliest so that we can heave a sigh of relief,” he added.
