700 Rounds of AK-47 rifle recovered from Lashkoot forests in Bandipora, hideout busted
Bandipora: Government forces on Thursday claimed to have busted a militant hideout in north Kashmir’s Bandipora district and have recovered arms and ammunition.
Official sources told KNO that on a credible input, government forces including army’s 13JAKLI, Jammu and Kashmir police and other forces busted a militant hideout in lashkoot forest area of Chandeji in Bandipora.
They said that arms and ammunition including 700 rounds of AK47 rifle were recovered from the busted hideout.
Meanwhile, a senior police officer told KNO that Pathkoot police has registered a case under relevant sections of law and further investigations stands initiated in this regard.
