Rs 50 lakh stolen from Gulmarg Gandola
Srinagar: In major burglary incident, 50 lakh rupees have been stolen from strong-room of Gulmarg Gandola during intervening night of Sunday and Monday .
Sources said that a CCTV footage shows burglars entering the Gandola compartment in the might night and decamp with cash from safe locker.
While confirming the incident, a top police official said that police has registered a case under FIR No 05 of 2019 Under Section 457,380 RPC in police station Gulmarg following the burglary incident.
When Contacted Manger Director Shamim Wani, said:“We were shocked to see cash safe broken and informed police about the major theft. Police has taken cognizance and tracking the movement of thieves with the help of CCTV footage.”
