Burglars loot two shops in Sopore, decamp with merchandise

Sopore: Burglars on Tuesday looted two shops during the night and decamped with goods worth lakhs of rupees in north Kashmir’s Sopore township.
The burglars looted the cloth shop of Farooq Ahmad Sofi at Main bazaar Sopore and Kiryana shop of Muhammad Yousuf Bhat at Tehsil Road Sopore during the intervening night and decamped with goods worth lakhs.
Meanwhile, scores of shopkeepers expressed their anger against the district administration and the police accusing them of failing to check such rising incidents in the town since past many months now.
Police said it registered the cases and started manhunt to nab the robbers.
