DC B’la reviews Eid arrangements
BARAMULLA: In view of the auspicious occasion of Eid, Deputy Commissioner Baramulla, Dr G N Itoo accompanied by concerned officers Monday visited various Eid Gahs, Khankahs and other shrines of the district to review the arrangements for Eid prayer.
On the occasion, DC took stock of various arrangements which includes sanitation and other necessary arrangements wherein he stressed for facilitating every basic amenity for the devotees. He directed the Municipal Authorities to ensure sanitation of Eid Gahs, Khankahs and shrines so that the devotees may not face any inconvenience.
Meanwhile, DC extended Eid greetings to the people of the district and appealed them to remember weak and downtrodden on this auspicious occasion. Moreover, he urged upon the traders to abide by the legal regulations with regard to the price of various commodities.
