Notorious drug peddler held in north Kashmir, contraband seized
Sopore: Police on Tuesday claimed to have arrested a notorious drug peddler in Watergam, Rafiabad of North Kashmir’s Baramulla district.
The accused identified as Shafat Ahmad Gojree S/O Mohammad Ismaiel of Watergam Rafiabad was apprehended by a police party from Police Post Watergam.
Police also claimed to have recovered Brown Sugar, charas and cash amount of Rs, 38,750 from his possession,
“The accused was indulging in selling this contraband among the youth of Rafiabad area,” a police statement said.
An FIR under relevant sections of law has been registered in Police Station Dangiwacha and investigation has been taken up .
