Vote count: Akbar Lone leads in Kupwara, Mehbooba trailing in Anantnag
Srinagar: After fresh round of counting, National Conference took lead for Kupwara parliamentary constituency and Congress’s GA Mir is leading from Anantnag PS.
According to latest details, AIP Er Er Rasheed had 39549 who had retained lead for some time, JKNC’s Akbar Lone is now leading the vote count with 41212.
Following them is PC’s Raja Aijaz Ali with 33118 followed by PDP’s Ab Qayoom Wani with 19940 votes and Congress Haji Farooq Ahmd Mir had 8685
On completion of 18th round complete Congress’s GA Mir was leading the count with 11044 votes followed by NC’s Hasnain Masoodi wiht 9971 votes.
Former CM Mehbooba Mufti is trailing with 7809 votes while BJP’s Sofi Yousuf has secured 627 and Shams Khawaja has 216 votes.
