State President JDU, Shameema Firdous meet Governor
Srinagar: G.M. Shaheen, State President, Janta Dal United and Shameema Firdous, State President of Jammu and Kashmir National Conference’s Women Wing, met Governor Satya Pal Malik at the Raj Bhavan here on Tuesday and discussed various pressing issues relating to public welfare during the meeting.
During the meeting, Firdous expressed concern about the rape of a minor girl from Bandipora and submitted a representation to Governor urging that the case be tried by a fast track court.
Governor assured Firdous that every possible action would be taken to provide justice to the victim.
