Ramadan to begin from Tuesday
Srinagar: The holy month of Ramadan will begin from Tuesday as the crescent moon has not been sighted today in India as well as Pakistan.
Markazi Royat-e-Hilal Committee Jama Masjid, New Delhi in a statement, said that the moon was not sighted in the capital and other areas.
Similarly, Chairman Ruet-i-Hilal Committee Pakistan Mufti Muneebur Rehman also announced that the moon for the month of Ramadhan was not sighted on Sunday, and that the holy month will begin from Tuesday.
