Police-Public meeting held at Karan Nagar
Srinagar: Police on Saturday said it held a Police-Public meeting at Police Station Karan Nagar in which “representatives of Shopkeepers Union, Vehicle dealers and Bike Sellers’ Union of Karan Nagar participated”.
The meeting was chaired by SHO Police Station Karan Nagar.
“At the meet, various issues were discussed and the participants were assured that all the grievances pertaining to the police department will be resolved in shortest possible time,” a police statement said.
“The community members were requested to cooperate with the police in order to curb the social crimes and violations in the area. The community members have reciprocated warmly and assured of every possible assistance to police,” it added.
